Job summary

Cleveland Clinic Lutheran Hospital is seeking a Registered Nurse to provide ambulatory care and support across clinics. The role involves patient assessment, triage, medication administration, and educating patients and families.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited School of Nursing (Diploma, ADN or BSN)
• Current state licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN)
• Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) within six months of hire
• One year of recent RN or related clinical healthcare experience

Responsibilities

• Provide professional nursing care in an ambulatory setting
• Assess health status, complete nursing assessments, perform telephone triage, and establish care plans
• Administer medication and treatments
• Initiate CPR and other emergency measures
• Notify the physician and/or LIP of abnormal findings
• Assist with specialized diagnostic procedures, therapeutic procedures, and specialized patient care equipment
• Develop, evaluate, adapt and document health education and provide it to patients and families
• Cover other nursing roles within the department
• Travel within the region to support physician clinics and surgical procedures, as needed
