Job summary

Cambridge Health Alliance (CHA) is seeking a part-time Registered Nurse for the Somerville Campus. The role focuses on planning and delivering patient care within the Dept. of Surgery, with a day shift from 8:00 to 16:30 and a 32-hour work week.

The successful candidate will hold MA RN licensure (current or conditional), have ambulatory nursing experience, and preferably BSN. BLS certification is required and second-language skills are a plus.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program; BSN preferred.
• Current MA RN licensure required (conditional licensure acceptable).
• Maintains current American Heart Association Healthcare Provider BLS.
• Two years of ambulatory nursing experience; surgical specialties preferred.
• Linguistic capability: second language preferred.

Responsibilities

• Plan and provide nursing care for patients in accordance with Standards of Care.
• Assess, plan, implement and evaluate nursing care for patients with complex needs.
• Demonstrate initiative and clinical skills in the perioperative setting.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure safe and effective patient care.
