Overview:

Schedule: Monday–Friday, 0.8 FTE (4 days per week), consisting of three 8-hour shifts scheduled between 7:30a - 5:15p. Practice Areas: General Adolescent Medicine, Gynecology (non-surgical), M-DEED (Medical Management of Disordered Eating and Eating Disorders), and the STAR (Substance Use and Recovery) Program. Cross-training includes BC4Teens (Birth Control for Teens) and telephone triage. Clinic Locations: Assignments will primarily support our Dublin and Hilliard locations, with remaining shifts and coverage during off‑site clinic closures at the Livingston Ambulatory Center. Additional coverage at East Broad may be assigned based on clinic schedules and staffing needs.

Emphasizes health promotion and disease prevention as they assist patients and families to move rapidly, uneventfully, safely, and as effectively as possible through their episode of care. Delegates, oversees and provides quality, safe and developmentally appropriate patient care.

Job Description:

Essential Functions: Provides nursing care using a Family Centered approach. Assesses individualized patient needs and plans, implements, educates and evaluates care using Evidence-Based Practices. Ensures clinic processes and workflows comply with regulatory and policy compliance. Works closely with providers and other team members to ensure a smooth clinic flow addressing patient/parent concerns and attaining positive patient and family outcomes. Documents according to organizational standards, policies, and procedures. Engages in the “workplace community” by staying aware of changes, participating in data collection or auditing, understanding Quality Improvement, and representing staff at relevant meetings and then reporting important information and updates back to staff.

Education Requirement:

Graduation from an ACEN or CCNE accredited school, required. Bachelor's Degree in Nursing, preferred. Must successfully complete BSN within 5 years of start date.

Licensure Requirement:

Licensed as a Registered Nurse in the State of Ohio, required.

Certifications:

Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association, required.

Experience:

Three years of pediatric clinical experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience, preferred.
