Position Title

Nurse Practitioner (full and part-time)

Overview

This is an exciting time to join the Adult Primary Care Practice of the Department of Medicine at Boston Medical Center as a Nurse Practitioner (NP) and be a key member of a team-based, NCQA-certified patient-centered medical home. As part of an ACO, we aim to improve patients’ access to primary care for sick visits with additional daytime capacity and extended hours outside of regular business hours. NPs will provide primary care, focused on sick visits and urgent care needs.

Responsibilities
  • Diagnose and manage acute illness.
  • Perform sick visit examinations.
  • Order, interpret, and evaluate diagnostic tests and examinations.
  • Collaborate with the team for panel management and direct patient care follow-up.
Qualifications
  • 3‑5 years of post‑licensure clinical experience.
  • MA NP license (required).
  • Experience in Primary Care and/or Urgent Care settings (desired).
Schedule

Full‑time during regular business hours with 6 face‑to‑face clinic sessions per week, 2 administrative sessions for team collaboration and panel management, and 2 administrative sessions for follow‑up of direct patient care.
