Qualifications

• Graduated from an accredited school of nursing.
• Current State of Florida nursing license required.

Responsibilities

• Registers patient and completes pre-operative assessment and education based on assessed need.
• Performs pre-op patient care planning with input from patient and family.
• Administers medications and treatments per hospital guidelines.
• Documents observations accurately in the medical record.
• Coordinates with other disciplines to ensure smooth patient care.
• Participates in unit/hospital QI activities as requested.
