This position supports patients and providers across Trinity Health Medical Group practices located throughout the greater Grand Rapids area and along the Lakeshore.
The Pharmacy Technician will primarily support a centralized Prior Authorization Clinic serving Trinity Health Medical Group practices throughout West Michigan.
Responsibilities include resolving and appealing prior authorization requests and supporting medication access for patients.
The technician may also provide support to other ambulatory pharmacy clinics as needed.
High school diploma or equivalent required.
Completion of a formal Pharmacy Technician training program preferred.
Licensed Pharmacy Technician in the State of Michigan (LPhT) and nationally certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT), or eligible to obtain national certification within six months of hire with prior pharmacy technician experience.
Minimum of one year of pharmacy work experience required; experience in multiple healthcare settings preferred.
Previous experience working within multidisciplinary healthcare teams preferred.
