Job summary

The MetroHealth System is seeking a Pharmacy Technician to join the Parma Health Center ambulatory pharmacy team. Under direct supervision of a Pharmacist, you will assist in delivering pharmaceutical care to patients and help maintain fast, accurate prescription processing.

Preferred candidates hold a current Ohio Pharmacy Technician registration or certification and have 6 months of retail or hospital ambulatory experience.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED
• 18+ with no felony convictions per Ohio law
• Registered Pharmacy Technician with the Ohio State Board
• Maintains registration throughout employment
• Willing and able to travel to external satellite locations with reliable transportation
• Ability to interact effectively with diverse backgrounds

Responsibilities

• Under direct supervision of a Pharmacist, performs duties in delivering pharmaceutical care to ambulatory patients.
• Meets departmental standards including prescription turnaround times and dispensing accuracy.
