Providence Health & Services is seeking an Ambulatory Pharmacy Operations Coordinator in California to support the Ambulatory and Population Health Pharmacy teams. Responsibilities

Ambulatory Pharmacy Operations Coordinator

Under direct supervision of management, this position is responsible for supporting the Ambulatory and Population Health Pharmacy teams. This pharmacy coordinator will have responsibilities that include reviewing charts to extract essential information for reports and for proper patient interactions, coordinating patient care by phone and new technologies, documenting workflows for pharmacy care gaps and patient coordination, assisting with our pharmacy student program, initiating and maintaining operational and quality reports, evaluating trends to report out to supervisors, assisting with prior authorizations, and support general pharmacy-related issue resolution under the guidance and direction of Pharmacists.

The ideal candidate demonstrates strong organizational and analytical skills, excellent friendly communication abilities, and proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and other computer-based technologies.

Required Qualifications:

  • Coursework/Training: Completed coursework in Medical Terminology or has working knowledge of Medical Terminology.
  • 2 years Pharmacy Technician experience.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • EMR or IDX experience.
  • Skilled in Microsoft Excel and Data Management.

The successful candidate's placement on the wage range for this position will be determined based upon relevant job experience and other applicable factors. These amounts are the base pay range; additional compensation may be available for this role, such as shift differentials, standby/on-call, overtime, premiums, extra shift incentives, or bonus opportunities.

Pay Range: $27.92 - $42.73
