Job summary

The MetroHealth System is seeking a qualified Pharmacist to manage the daily operations of the Ambulatory Pharmacy at Broadway Health Center. The role includes serving as the Responsible Pharmacist and ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local drug laws, while supervising staff and maintaining fiscal controls.

Ideal candidates hold a BS in Pharmacy, OH pharmacist license, and immunization delivery certification, with 2+ years retail pharmacy experience and BLS.

Qualifications

• Pharmacist must hold a BS in Pharmacy from an Ohio-approved institution.
• Current Ohio Pharmacist license required and maintained.
• Pharmacy-Based Immunization Delivery certification required or equivalent.
• Meets legal requirements for TDDD license to be Responsible Person for an Institutional Pharmacy; obtain within 6 months of hire.
• Maintains Immunization Delivery certification by APhA or equivalent.
• BLS certification; 2 years of experience in a retail pharmacy.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations of the Ambulatory Pharmacy ensuring efficiency and compliance.
• Serve as Responsible Pharmacist with legal responsibilities for drug laws.
• Supervise and manage staff at the Ambulatory Pharmacy.
• Ensure fiscal compliance for the Ambulatory Pharmacy.
• Address customer service issues and uphold MetroHealth mission and standards.
