Qualifications

• Active license to practice pharmacy in the state of Utah and dispense controlled substances.
• Knowledge of state and federal regulations governing pharmacy practice.
• Demonstrated communication, leadership, and project management skills.

Responsibilities

• Review medication orders for allergy interactions, duplication of therapy, appropriateness, and drug interactions.
• Provide evidence-based interventions to optimize medication use.
• Ensure safe, cost-effective therapies and accurate dispensing of medications.
• Supervise interns, technicians and support staff as required.
• Counsel patients and promote medication education and adherence.
• Ensure regulatory training and documentation compliance.
• Collaborate with health professionals for clinical consultation.
