Penn Medicine is hiring a Pharmacist to support safe medication use, review prescriptions, and educate patients. The role includes supervising interns and technicians while ensuring high standards of patient care across age groups.

Qualified candidates hold a PharmD or BS in Pharmacy with PA licensure (or eligibility) and immunization certification; retail experience is a plus. Comprehensive benefits and opportunities for professional growth are provided.

Competenze

• Pharmacist licensure in PA or eligible for reciprocity.
• Immunization certification through an accredited organization (APhA).
• Strong concentration and memory for clinical tasks and learning.
• Excellent communication with patients, providers and staff.
• Retail pharmacy experience preferred.

• Interprets and evaluates prescriptions to ensure safe, effective therapy and dosing with needed clarifications.
• Reviews prescriptions and suggests alternative therapies when appropriate.
• Prepares and dispenses medications per guidelines and laws.
• Advises providers and patients on contents, actions, interactions, and adverse effects.
• Responds to drug information requests and supports safety programs.
• Mentors pharmacy interns and students; may assist in scheduling and training.
