Job summary

Regent Surgical in Florida seeks an Ambulatory RN to provide perioperative and intraoperative care, ensuring safety and quality throughout the surgical process. You will assess patients, prepare for surgery, monitor vitals, and assist the team while maintaining sterile technique.

Maintain open communication with surgeons and staff, document care, and provide postoperative instructions to patients and families. Prior ASC experience and active Florida RN license preferred.

Qualifications

• RN license in Florida
• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
• BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications as required by ASC policy
• High school diploma or equivalent

Responsibilities

• Provide intraoperative care in procedure rooms and operating rooms.
• Evaluate and prepare patients for surgery, including assessment of surgical site and airway.
• Explain procedures and post-operative expectations to patients and families.
• Maintain sterile technique and verify medications and equipment.
• Assist surgeons and anesthesiologists and monitor patient vitals.
• Prepare and discharge patients with instructions and follow-up care.
• Document nursing care accurately for continuity of care.
