Job summary

Mayo Clinic in Rochester, MN seeks an Ambulatory Care Registered Nurse to provide direct patient care in the Gonda 7 Outpatient Procedure Center, covering perioperative and pre/post anesthesia tasks. You will educate patients and families and coordinate nursing care with the care team.

The role requires RN licensure and at least 1 year of RN experience; TN sponsorship is available; strong communication and teamwork are essential.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a nursing program recognized by ACEN/CCNE/NLN CNEA.
• One year of professional RN experience required.
• Current RN license by applicable state requirements.

Responsibilities

• Delivery of direct patient care including patient education within the outpatient setting.
• Perioperative care in the operating room as a circulating RN.
• Coordination and delivery of perianesthesia care in the pre‑post area.
• Providing moderate sedation under direction of the Anesthesiologist or proceduralist.
• Plan, implement, and evaluate patient care; educate patients and families; orient colleagues and peers.
