Qualifications

• Graduate of an Accredited Nursing Program.
• Registered Nurse License-NYS required.
• BLS Certification required by American Heart Association.

Responsibilities

• Performs nursing duties for a group of patients in the perioperative setting.
• Documents patient assessments and progress accurately and timely.
• Promotes patient safety and quality in line with National Patient Safety Goals.
• Communicates effectively with the health care team and escalates concerns when needed.
• Administers medications and parenteral therapy following policies and procedures.
• Plans and coordinates patient care across ambulatory surgery center and main operating rooms.
