Job summary

MaineHealth Pediatric Cancer Care, Blood Disorders, and IV Therapy seeks an Outpatient Pediatric Clinical Pharmacist to join a collaborative, patient-centered team. The role focuses on oncology and non-oncology infusion services, oral med management, and education for children and families.

You will educate families, optimize therapy, and contribute to EMR builds while supporting multiple pediatric specialties in a rewarding work environment.

Qualifications

• Pediatric-focused training and experience preferred.
• PGY2 Pediatric Residency and/or PGY2 Oncology Residency is preferred.
• Pediatric/oncology board certification is a plus.

Summary:

Maine Health Pediatric Cancer Care, Blood Disorders, and IV Therapy is seeking an Outpatient Pediatric Clinical Pharmacist to join our highly collaborative, patient-centered team. This is an exciting opportunity to work alongside a dedicated group focused on delivering exceptional care in a supportive and engaging environment.

The pharmacist will play a key role in both oncology and non-oncology infusion services, as well as oral medication management and education for pediatric patients and their families.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support medication therapy and administration in the outpatient clinic setting
• Manage oral oncology therapies and supportive care medications
• Provide complex medication management across multiple pediatric specialties
• Support the implementation and oversight of novel and high-risk therapies
• Educate patients, families, and members of the care team
• Participate in electronic medical record (EMR) build, optimization, and review activities

Preferred Experience:

We are seeking candidates with pediatric-focused training and experience. Preferred qualifications include completion of a PGY2 Pediatric Residency, PGY2 Oncology Residency, and/or relevant pediatric and/or oncology board certification.

Required Minimum Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs)

1. Education: Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy or PharmD degree from a recognized/accredited school or college of pharmacy required.
2. License/Certifications: Current applicable state(s) license with Board of Pharmacy required.
3. Experience: Previous pharmacist experience preferred.

The pay range for this position is $122,408.00to $165,630.40per year.

Compensation for part-time positions isdeterminedon a prorated basis consistent with the scheduled hours and applicable full-time equivalent (FTE).
