Job summary

ReliaRide in Hartville, Ohio seeks an Ambulatory Driver to transport patients to medical appointments and ensure safety and comfort during trips. You will maintain precise pickup/drop-off records, assist patients as needed, and coordinate with dispatch to follow routes.

Qualifications

• Valid driver's license is required.
• Must be at least 18 years old with 2 years of driving experience.
• Pass pre-hire physical and TB test, alcohol/drug test, and background check.
• Clean driving record with no more than 4 points.
• Able to assist patients door-to-door without lifting.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Transport patients to and from medical appointments safely and timely.
• Ensure patient comfort and safety during transport.
• Maintain accurate records of pick-up/drop-off times and odometer readings.
• Communicate effectively with clients, dispatch and management.
• Perform pre/post trip inspections.
• Transport patients without discrimination.
• Follow schedule as shown on work tablet and routing system.
• Report incidents to dispatch and supervisor immediately.
• Perform other duties as assigned by supervising staff.
