Job summary

ReliaRide in Ohio is seeking a Non-Emergency Medical Transportation Driver (Paratransit). You will transport patients to medical appointments, ensuring safety and comfort, and maintain records of pickups, drop-offs, and odometer readings using the work tablet and routing system.

This full-time role requires a valid driver's license, clean driving record, and the ability to assist patients door-to-door. Shifts run Mon-Sat 6 AM-6 PM with around 9 hours per day; health insurance and a 401(k) with

Qualifications

• Valid driver's license.
• Be at least 18 with 2 years of driving experience.
• Pass pre-hire work physical and TB test.
• Pass pre-hire alcohol and drug test.
• Pass pre-hire background check (FBI/BCI).
• Clean driving record with no more than 4 points.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to assist (NOT LIFT) patients as needed providing door-to-door service.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Transport patients to and from medical appointments in a safe and timely manner.
• Ensure patient comfort and safety during transportation.
• Maintain accurate records of patient pickup/drop-off times and odometer readings.
• Communicate effectively with clients, dispatch and management team.
• Perform pre/post trip inspections.
• Transport all patients without discrimination.
• Report all incidents and accidents to dispatch and supervisor immediately.
• Execute wheelchair tie-downs and seat belt securement, using in-vehicle restraints.
