Job summary

Advocate Health's Carolinas Medical Center: Mercy - Pain Management in Randolph is seeking a full-time registered nurse. Work hours are Monday to Friday, 8:00am-4:30pm, with a pay range of $35.50-$53.25 per hour.

The RN will use the nursing process to assess and plan care, monitor patient status, ensure safety, and document in the EHR while collaborating with the care team. Preferred BSN; active RN license and BLS required; typically 1 year of nursing experience.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a Board of Nursing approved nursing education program.
• Active RN license with privileges to practice in the state(s) of employment.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.

Responsibilities

• Engages in governance and quality initiatives to improve care processes.
• Uses nursing process to assess, plan, diagnose, implement and evaluate care with patients and families.
• Monitors patient conditions, adjusts care plans and collaborates with the care team.
• Upholds a culture of safety and ensures accurate EHR documentation.
• May administer medications and therapies per protocols.
• Delivers effective communication and delegates appropriately.
• Pursues professional development and maintains certifications.
• May float to other units as needed.
