Job summary

New England Baptist Hospital’s Licensed Ambulatory Surgery Center at Brookline Place is a high-performing outpatient facility with four operating rooms, dedicated to safe, efficient, and exceptional patient care. As a Surgical Technologist, you will support OR teams, ensure sterile technique, help with instruments and supplies, and contribute to timely turnover in a busy ASC.

Qualifications

• Certified Surgical Technologist credential required.
• Heart Saver certification due within 60 days of hire.
• Graduate of an accredited surgical technology program.

Responsibilities

• Preoperative case management: prepare OR, gather tools, count items, assist sterile field.
• Intraoperative phase: pass instruments, assist surgeon, handle specimens, prep meds, assist with dressings.
• Postoperative: maintain sterile field, transport patient, prepare OR for next case, support inventory.
• Assist RN and Materials Manager with supplies and turnover to ensure efficiency.

Education

Graduate of an accredited surgical technology program
