Job summary
Prosperity Placement Solutions is seeking an Operating Room Registered Nurse (RN) for a busy ambulatory surgery center in Bradenton, FL. This full-time role features a Monday–Friday schedule with no nights, weekends, holidays, or on-call responsibilities, and competitive compensation.
The ideal candidate will hold a Florida RN license, current BLS, ACLS, and at least one year of OR/perioperative experience; strong communication, clinical excellence, and EMR proficiency are essential.
Qualifications
- Active Florida RN license.
- Current BLS Certification.
- ACLS Certification (required for cardiac-related departments).
- Minimum 1 year of Registered Nurse experience.
- Strong communication and critical thinking skills.
- Computer proficiency.
Responsibilities
- Circulate surgical procedures in a busy ambulatory surgery center.
- Perform comprehensive preoperative patient assessments.
- Prepare operating rooms and surgical equipment.
- Maintain sterile field and aseptic technique.
- Assist surgeons and anesthesia providers during procedures.
- Document patient care accurately in the electronic medical record.
