Job summary

The Coral Springs Family Health and Surgery Center, part of Cleveland Clinic Health System, seeks an ASC RN in Operating Room. You will screen and treat patients undergoing ambulatory surgeries, collaborating with physicians and anesthesia to deliver safe, high-quality care.

Requirements include Florida RN licensure, perioperative or critical care experience, and current BLS/ACLS (PALS if needed). The role offers day shifts in a busy ASC with opportunities for professional growth and teamwork.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an approved nursing program (ADN or BSN).
• Current RN licensure in the state.
• One year of RN perioperative or critical care experience.
• Three years of experience as a Surgical Technician.
• BLS certification through the American Heart Association or Red Cross.
• ACLS certification within six months of hire; PALS for pediatric care.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care in the Ambulatory Surgery Center per standards and policies.
• Assess patient care needs and plan delivery of care using the nursing process.
• Direct other caregivers in providing patient care and maintain patient safety.
• Assume charge responsibilities and communicate variances to the Nurse Manager.
• Develop and provide health education to patients and families within ASC.
• Maintain confidentiality and contribute to cost-effective, high-quality care.
