Job summary

Campbell Clinic in Cookeville, TN is seeking a Regular Full-Time Professional in the OR as a Registered Nurse with prior OR or Procedure Room experience. This role requires TN RN licensure, BLS/ACLS, and strong teamwork to support pediatric to geriatric patients.

The position involves circulating cases, prepping patients, documenting care, and collaborating with the PACU and surgical teams to ensure safety and quality outcomes. 40 hours per week, full-time.

Qualifications

• A graduate of an accredited post-secondary school of nursing is required.
• Previous OR or Procedure Room experience is required.
• English language proficiency is required.
• Basic arithmetic skills are required.
• Current TN Registered Nurse License or Multistate License required; BLS/ACLS required; PALS preferred.

Responsibilities

• Circulate surgical cases observing patient according to age and procedure type.
• Evaluate, plan, implement, and document patient care, observations, and medical history.
• Monitor surgery schedule for changes or cancellations.
• Perform surgical prep and assist surgical team during procedures.
• Collaborate with surgical and PACU teams to ensure patient safety.
• Ensure OR is prepared with supplies, instrumentation, and sterile technique.
• Count supplies, participate in turnover and instrument processing after each case.
• Maintain regular attendance and teamwork; perform other duties as assigned.
