HCA Healthcare's Tallahassee Outpatient Surgery Center is seeking an experienced Operating Room Nurse Manager to oversee OR nursing staff, surgical technicians and central sterile processing, ensuring high-quality, efficient care.

You will lead daily operations, collaborate with administration, ensure staffing, and uphold clinical practice standards across the center. This role offers growth potential within an organization committed to community health and career development.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited school of professional nursing.
• Active RN license as required by state of employment or appropriate compact licensure.
• BCLS Certification upon employment (online certification not acceptable).
• ACLS as required by facility.
• CNOR certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage and supervise all surgical areas of care.
• Establish and maintain an effective and supportive working relationship with your Administrator.
• Ensure day-to-day operations conform with clinical practice standards and policies.
• Ensure staffing daily by notifying team of scheduling changes.
• Participate in monitoring and evaluation of nursing care provided.
• Provide breaks and coverage for meals, late cases, and shortages.
• Monitor materials for upcoming cases and facilitate smooth transitions between surgeries.
• Delegate, coach, mentor, and handle conflicts within the team.
• Build trust and lead with strong leadership.

Education

Graduate from an accredited school of professional nursing

ACLS Certification
