Job summary

St Joseph's Outpatient Surgery Center in Phoenix, part of United Surgical Partners International, Inc., is hiring a Full Time Front OR RN Manager. The OR Manager leads all departmental functions in support of the facility's mission and goals, overseeing surgery, anesthesia, and sterile processing while building strong relationships with patients, physicians, employees, volunteers and vendors.

Requirements include graduation from an accredited nursing program, Arizona RN license with BLS, CNOR

Qualifications

• Graduate of accredited school of professional nursing.
• Current Arizona RN License - BLS.
• CNOR preferred.
• Five (5) years' experience in surgery as circulator.
• Two (2) years' experience in surgery management.
• Ability to prioritize and handle multiple projects.
• Excellent communication skills with staff and physicians.

Responsibilities

• The OR Manager is responsible for all departmental functions in support of the hospital mission, vision, and facility goals.
• The Manager identifies cost-effective systems needed to support the department business.
• This position establishes effective working relationships with patients, physicians, employees, volunteers and vendors.
• The Manager identifies and remedies through continuous customer satisfaction data and employee involvement.
• The Department Manager works with Senior Management in meeting Facility goals.
• Oversees surgery, anesthesia, and sterile processing services.
• Assists as RN Circulator and Scrub Tech as necessary.
