Job summary

United Surgical Partners International is looking for a qualified OPERATING ROOM Registered Nurse to join their team in Midland, Texas. This position requires no weekends, holidays, or call. The ideal candidate will focus on excellent customer service and demonstrate strong teamwork abilities.

The role involves addressing diverse patient needs and adhering to AORN standards. Ideal candidates should have a Texas Nursing License and relevant certifications, with experience in an ambulatory surgical setting preferred.

Qualifications

• Experience in surgery in an ambulatory surgical setting preferred.
• Strong knowledge of surgical procedures and management of the surgical patient.
• Ability to care for patients from infancy to geriatrics.

Responsibilities

• Determines data collection based on the patient's condition or needs.
• Addresses the physiological, psychological, socio-cultural and spiritual needs of the patient.
• Demonstrates a positive can-do attitude.

Skills

Excellent communication and organizational skills

Strong customer service skills

Ability to quickly adapt to changing condition of the patient

Experience in surgery in an ambulatory surgical setting

Education

Graduate of an accredited school of nursing

Current Texas Nursing License

Current BLS, ACLS and PALS certifications
