Job summary

Texan Surgery Center in Austin, TX is seeking an experienced Operating Room Registered Nurse (Circulator) to support 3 OR rooms with outpatient ophthalmology procedures.

Responsibilities include patient positioning, prepping and circulating during cases; weekday schedule only, no holidays or weekends, some early mornings or late evenings as needed.

Minimum 1 year circulating nurse experience, valid Texas RN license, BLS/ACLS/PALS as required, and strong nursing judgment are essential.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited RN School of Nursing.
• Active RN license in the state.
• BLS, ACLS, or PALS as required by the center.
• A minimum of 1 year experience working as a Circulator.
• Ability to make decisions based on nursing judgment.

Responsibilities

• The Circulating RN will be responsible for positioning the patient, prepping the patient, and circulating the case.

Education

Graduate of an accredited RN School of Nursing

Active RN license in the state

BLS, ACLS, or PALS as required by the center
