Job summary

Henry Ford Health is seeking an OR nurse to join the Cottage, Grosse Pointe site. This role offers 40 hours per week with day shifts and no weekend or on-call requirements.

You will circulate and scrub in the Operating Room, provide leadership in patient care, and collaborate with a large physician group. Required qualifications include BSN preferred, graduation from an accredited nursing program, Michigan RN licensure, and BCLS certification, with at least one year of OR experience.

Qualifications

• Circulating and scrubbing in the Operating Room required.
• One year OR experience required.
• Current licensure by the Michigan State Board of Nursing.
• Health care provider certification (BCLS).

Responsibilities

• Provides leadership in coordinating and delivering quality patient care.
• Communicates pertinent patient information to the health care team.
• Assists in planning and evaluating nursing care plans.
• Delivers and documents patient and family teaching.
