Responsibilities

• Assess physiological and psychological status pre/intraoperatively.
• Plan and coordinate nursing actions to ensure patient safety and efficient flow.
• Scrub or assist to maintain sterile field and proper aseptic technique.
• Administer drugs and solutions as prescribed and monitor patient response.
• Communicate effectively with the health care team and document outcomes.
