Job summary

Montefiore Nyack Hospital is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Evening shift in the Same Day Surgery department. The RN will manage, delegate and coordinate nursing care using the nursing process, across all ages, with strong communication to patients, families, and the health care team.

The role requires NYS RN licensure, BLS, ACLS, PALS, NRP and relevant certifications, with on-call responsibilities for OR, PACU, and Cath Lab. It supports a collaborative, patient-centered care environment.

Qualifications

• Must have an Associate Degree and a Bachelor Degree.
• 1-3 years minimum of experience in the area applying for.
• National Certification in area of practice preferred.
• On Call required for OR, PACU, and Cath Lab.
• Registered Nurse New York - New York State Board of Nursing Required.
• BLS - American Heart Association Required.
• ACLS - Required for specified areas.
• PALS - Required for specified areas.
• NRP - Required for specified areas.
• ONS/ONCC Chemotherapy/Biotherapy certificate required for Infusion Center

• Coordinate with multidisciplinary team to ensure patient safety and quality care.
