Job summary

The Staff RN - Ambulatory Services at Froedtert Health in Milwaukee works with an interprofessional team to provide patient- and family-centered care. You will assess data, develop and evaluate care plans, and apply evidence to clinical decisions while supporting safety, effectiveness, and fiscal accountability.

Major duties include ACLS performance, rhythm interpretation, administration of advanced medications, RN-only patient assessments, and education requiring certifications.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of nursing experience preferred.
• Nursing licensure required; Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Oncology: oncology nursing certification or 10 hours oncology CE/year encouraged.

Responsibilities

• Perform/direct ACLS.
• Independent rhythm interpretation and defibrillation.
• Administration of advanced lifesaving medications.
• RN-only visits for patient assessment with protocol-driven actions.
• Specialty education requiring certification (sedation, telemetry).
• Assist with complex procedures and device management.
• May float to other areas as needed for operations.
