Job summary

The University of Michigan's Michigan Medicine in Ann Arbor is seeking a Registered Nurse – Level C for the MM Blue Cancer Center. This ambulatory care role supports direct patient care, education, symptom management and triage across Upper Aero, GI, Liver, Pancreatic and Colorectal clinics.

Responsibilities include coordinating care with teams, performing nursing assessments, and float coverage between two nursing work teams.

Qualifications

• Current licensure as a Registered Nurse to practice in Michigan.
• Minimum of 18 months of oncology RN experience within the last five years; or 3 years ambulatory care with triage experience.

Responsibilities

• Deliver direct patient care including education, symptom management, and telephone triage in ambulatory clinics.
• Support nursing practice across settings; assess, plan, implement and evaluate patient care; educate patients and staff.
• Provide coverage within two nursing teams in Upper Aero and GI/Liver/Pancreatic/Colorectal clinics.
