Job summary

Mass General Brigham is seeking a Pharmacist to optimize drug therapy, identify and resolve drug-related problems, and enhance therapeutic outcomes. The role may involve prescribing under CDTM agreements where allowed by state and federal regulations.

Responsibilities include directing pharmacy services, supervising staff, and ensuring compliance with formulary and safety programs. MA Pharmacist License and Doctor of Pharmacy are required; oncology experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Doctor of Pharmacy degree is required.
• MA Pharmacist License; Controlled Substances Registration preferred.
• 1-3 years oncology experience preferred. 5-7 years required.

Responsibilities

• Directs and coordinates the activities and delivery of pharmacy services.
• Supervises and verifies the accuracy of all work completed by support personnel during an assigned shift.
• Operates within the limits of pharmacy policy and procedures.
• Ensures compliance with target drug programs, formulary management, medication management initiatives, and adverse drug event monitoring programs.
• Documents and reports clinical interventions, medication errors, adverse drug events.
• Participates in department quality improvement efforts.
• Follows all policies, procedures, laws, and regulations set forth by the Board of Pharmacy and all other applicable regulatory agencies.
