Qualifications

• Doctor of Pharmacy Degree or BS Pharmacy Degree required.
• BS Pharmacy degree holders need 2 years of pharmacy practice experience or equivalent.
• Doctor of Pharmacy degree requires no experience.
• 3+ years oncology clinical practice experience and/or PGY2 oncology residency preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provides in-depth clinical pharmacy services to ambulatory adult malignant hematology patients at the Duke Blood Cancer Center Day Hospital.
• Provides clinical input, education, and treatment plan development oversight for cellular and gene therapies in adults and pediatrics.
• Educates medical, nursing, and pharmacy staff on management, prescribing and monitoring of therapies within responsibility area.
• Serves as a resource to the Department of Pharmacy for area(s) of expertise and participates in committees and initiatives.
• Contributes to student and resident education and may participate in research.
