Qualifications

• Associate's or Bachelor's Degree in Nursing is required.
• 3+ years of patient care experience as a Registered Nurse.
• Current RN license (OK State Board of Nursing or multi-state compact).
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required upon hire.
• Specialty certifications preferred.

Responsibilities

• Aligns nursing practices with OU Health values and standards.
• Manages assigned patient group and maintains accurate documentation of care.
• Assists physicians in examinations and minor procedures.
• Monitors and intervenes on physiological data; administers medications.
• Manages IV infusions and blood products; ensures safe administration.
• Provides patient and family education and care plan communication at discharge.
• Collaborates with staff to resolve patient concerns and improve care quality.
