Job summary

Bassett Healthcare Network is seeking a Supervisor Clinic Nursing Practice to lead nursing staff, develop procedures, and drive quality care in an ambulatory setting.

The role includes scheduling, performance evaluations, policy development, and collaboration with managers to ensure patient safety and efficiency. Extensive travel is expected weekly and ongoing professional development is encouraged.

Qualifications

• 2 Year/Associate Degree in Nursing required.
• Vocational/Technical Diploma Professional Nursing Program required.
• 4 Year/Bachelor's Degree in Nursing preferred.

Responsibilities

• Create and implement nursing procedures to support a productive, quality-driven work environment.
• Plan, prioritize, and assign health care tasks to clinical support staff.
• Foster professional growth, competency planning and evaluation for staff.
• Develop systems to maximize patient service, safety, quality care and provider efficiency.
• Lead QA/QI initiatives and ensure regulatory compliance under direction of leadership.
• Conduct performance evaluations and participate in staffing decisions with managers.
• Coordinate outpatient nursing and clinic workflows with care teams.
• Mentor nursing caregivers and manage education programs.
