Job summary

Duke University Health System Endoscopy Clinic in Durham, NC seeks an experienced Nurse Manager to lead ambulatory nursing and patient care services across clinics. You will ensure high standards of care, regulatory compliance, and efficient operations aligned with DUHS policies and service line goals, reporting to the Practice Administrator to integrate nursing priorities into workflows.

Responsibilities include supervising staff, optimizing staffing, monitoring budgets, and driving quality

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in nursing (BSN) required; Master's degree in nursing or related field preferred.
• Minimum of three years of nursing experience with at least one year of leadership experience required.
• Current RN licensure in NC or compact state. BLS certification required; additional certifications may be required based on specialty.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership for nursing and patient care in ambulatory clinic(s).
• Align staffing models, workflows, and clinical processes to optimize patient flow, access, and quality outcomes.
• Supervise and evaluate administrative and clinical staff; ensure competency and development.
• Monitor regulatory, accreditation, and infection prevention standards.
• Collaborate with physicians and APP leaders to support clinical care delivery and patient safety.
• Participate in budgeting and cost containment; support service improvement and resource allocation.
