The Brigham and Women's Hospital, Inc. in Boston, MA is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Ambulatory Lung Clinic on a 20-hour per week part-time schedule at the main campus.
The RN will assess, plan, implement and evaluate patient care for adults with complex needs, coordinate with the care team, document in the EMR, and support discharge planning while maintaining safety and quality standards.

The Registered Nurse is a professional nurse registered in Massachusetts who is responsible and accountable for planning and providing patient care for assigned patients in accordance with Nursing Standards of Care as set forth in the Nursing Department's Clinical Practice Manual. The registered nurse demonstrates initiative, knowledge and clinical skills in caring for the patient with complex needs. The Registered Nurse demonstrates the ability to effectively manage patients by assuming full responsibility for the assessment, plan, implementation and evaluation of patient care and is directly responsible to a designated nurse manager, or supervisor.
Education: Graduate of an approved school of nursing with current registration in Massachusetts. Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing is required.
Experience:
Works in a busy and stressful patient care environment and in an office environment. May be exposed to communicable diseases and hazardous materials. Must work well independently and in a multidisciplinary group, and exercise flexibility.
Works within legal, regulatory, accreditation and ethical practice standards relevant to the position and as established by BWH/Partners; follows safe practices required for the position; complies with appropriate BWH and Partners policies and procedures; fulfills any training required by BWH and/or Partners, as appropriate; brings potential matters of non-compliance to the attention of the supervisor or other appropriate hospital staff.
