Job summary

Central Health is seeking an Assistant Nurse Manager to oversee clinical patient care and supervise nurses and medical assistants in a clinic setting. The role partners with the Nurse Manager to drive quality care, staff development, and adherence to policies and regulatory standards.

The successful candidate will have a Texas RN license, a BSN preferred, and at least two years of supervisory experience in healthcare, with familiarity in ambulatory clinics and Epic.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited school of nursing.
• RN license in Texas is required.
• BSN preferred for this role.
• Minimum two years supervisory experience in a healthcare setting.
• Experience with Joint Commission/HIPAA and Quadruple Aim is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Collaborates with care team to optimize clinical outcomes.
• Performs Nurse Manager duties in absence of NM.
• Supervises staff, assigns work, and supports performance evaluations.
• Ensures infection control, regulatory compliance, and vaccine policies.
• Supports hiring, training, and orientation of new staff.
• Participates in quality improvement initiatives and staff education.
