Carle Health in Illinois is seeking an Ambulatory Nurse to provide nursing care across assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation within the RN scope. You will support patients and families, document care accurately, educate on health and wellness, and serve as a preceptor to staff and students.

The role includes assist with lumbar punctures, IV/IM meds, MRI safety screenings, and triage via phone.

Formación

• BLS certification within 30 days per AHA.
• Registered Nurse (RN) license as required by state regulations.

Responsabilidades

• Provide competent health care to patients and families following standards of care.
• Document care accurately and completely.
• Deliver health and wellness education to individuals and groups.
• Act as preceptor and support development of staff and healthcare students.
• Lead initiatives to improve quality of care and clinical outcomes.
• Assist Nursing Supervisor with standing orders and workflow.
• Assist with lumbar punctures and administer IV/IM medications.
• Perform visual field testing and MRI safety screenings.
• Handle patient phone triage and obtain prior authorizations.
