Job summary

Mayo Clinic is recruiting an LPN for ambulatory, in-person care in our Phoenix/Scottsdale area. The role delivers nursing care under RN supervision and collaborates with the healthcare team to meet patient needs.

Candidates should have an LPN license and at least one year of LPN experience; two years preferred. Strong communication and EMR skills are required. Daytime hours with 5x8 shifts, no weekend calls.

Qualifications

• One year of LPN experience required.
• Two years of LPN experience preferred.
• Current LPN license by applicable state requirements.
• Excellent communication skills (verbal and written).
• Experience working in a team environment.
• Computer skills required, prior experience with electronic medical record systems preferred.
• Ability to work daytime hours, flexibility may be required to meet staffing needs.
• Ability to adapt to unpredictable situations within the work setting.

Responsibilities

• The LPN provides nursing care to assigned patients under supervision of the RN or supervisor.
• Collects data through observation and communicates findings to aid assessment and planning.
• Delivers care per the patient care plan and organizational policies.
• Works as part of the health care team and may participate in quality improvement projects.
• Ambulatory in-person role.
