Job summary

Mayo Clinic is seeking a licensed practical nurse for ambulatory, in-person care at our Phoenix/Scottsdale campuses. You will deliver patient-centered nursing under RN supervision and participate in the care plan according to clinic policies.

Candidates should have a Practical Nursing diploma, an active LPN license, and prior EMR experience. Daytime shifts, 5x8 hours, with no weekend requirement.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a practical nursing program or passed LPN boards.
• One year of LPN experience required.
• Two years of LPN experience preferred.
• Excellent communication skills, verbal and written.
• Experience working in a team environment.
• Computer skills with EMR experience preferred.
• Ability to work daytime hours; flexibility may be required.
• Ability to adapt to unpredictable situations.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care to assigned patients under supervision of RN or supervisor.
• Collect data through observation and communicate information to assist RN and provider in patient assessment and care planning.
• Deliver care according to patient care plan, policies and procedures, and relationship-based care principles.
