Job summary

Beth Israel Lahey Health is seeking a Medical Assistant to provide direct and indirect patient care in ambulatory settings. You will collect vitals, assist physicians, manage triage calls, prepare exam rooms, and coordinate with care teams under supervision.

Requirements include a high school diploma or GED, completion of an accredited Medical Assistant program, MA certification preferred and BLS. Vaccination against influenza is required.

Qualifications

• Medical Office or outpatient experience preferred.
• Certification as Medical Assistant preferred; BLS required.

Responsibilities

• Obtain vitals (BP, height, weight, SPO2) and document in chart.
• Assist physicians with minor procedures and triage calls.
• Prepare exam rooms and restock supplies; coordinate care with teams.
