UF Health in Gainesville seeks a Medical Assistant to support a physician's practice with patient care and essential clerical tasks.

You will perform basic clinical duties within the scope defined by Florida statutes, assist with insurance and medical records, and may float to other UF Health locations as needed to balance staffing and patient flow.

Strong communication, initiative, multitasking, and teamwork are valued as you help deliver safe, efficient care in a fast-paced environment.

Formación

• Must be certified or registered as a Medical Assistant (MA).
• License/Certification in Basic Life Support (CPR) required or obtained within 90 days.
• Experience: one year of direct patient care in ambulatory setting preferred.
• Demonstrates initiative, multitasking, and teamwork.

Responsabilidades

• Provide patient care under the direct supervision of a licensed physician.
• Perform clerical, insurance, and medical records tasks.
• May float to other UF Health practices to support staffing needs.
