Job summary

CoxHealth is seeking an MA III at the Ozark location to perform administrative duties such as answering phones, scheduling, and data entry, under supervision. Clinical tasks include measuring vital signs, preparing patients, and medication administration.

The successful candidate will have an MA training program with pharmacology, be proficient in data handling, and possess strong communication skills for independent and team work within a clinic setting.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent is required.
• Completion of a formal MA training program that included pharmacology, anatomy/physiology, medication administration basics, and clinical externship is required.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills are essential.
• Able to work independently and collaboratively in a team and carry out delegated tasks.

Responsibilities

• Administrative duties: answering phones, scheduling appointments, data entry in medical records under supervision.
• Clinical duties: measuring vital signs, collecting demographics or med information, preparing patients for examination, stocking supplies.
• Administration of medications as part of the role.
