Sanford Health in Wisconsin Rapids is hiring a Medical Assistant Ambulatory to support a fast-paced family practice. The MA will collect patient data, communicate findings to the provider, and assist in patient care under supervision, performing vital signs and routine clinical tasks.

Requirements include graduation from a recognized Medical Assistant program, or completion of specific coursework within 12 months, and BLS certification within six months.

Formación

• Must be a graduate of a recognized Medical Assistant program or complete required courses within 12 months of hire: Medical Terminology, Anatomy and Physiology, Pharmacology.
• Two years' experience as a Medical Assistant if education is not met at hire.
• Nationally certified or registered as a Medical Assistant (MA).
• CMA/CCMA/CMAC/NCMA certifications accepted; AMT RMA registration acceptable.
• ND MAIII registration requirements may apply; MD/ND/ MN/IA/SD/OR variations.
• BLS certification required within six months of employment; recertification as required.

Responsabilidades

• Collects subjective and objective health data from patients or caregivers.
• Communicates data to health care providers.
• Participates in patient care under supervision of licensed providers.
• Performs routine duties including vital signs, patient prep for exams, and point-of-care testing.
