Job summary

MemorialCare Medical Foundation is seeking a Medical Assistant (MA) for the Family Medicine department. This full-time daytime role supports the clinical care team with patient care delivery, ensuring timely flow, proper documentation in the EHR, and adherence to practice standards.

Qualifications include a Medical Assistant certificate, 2+ years of ambulatory care experience preferred, and BLS certification. The position may include a $2,500 signing bonus for external hires meeting requirements.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of clinical experience in ambulatory care is highly preferred.
• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Certificate from Accredited Medical Assistant Program required.
• BLS for Healthcare Provider required.

Responsibilities

• Assist and support the clinical care team with patient care delivery.
• Meet ambulatory Medical Assistant clinical competencies.
• Perform clinical procedures under supervision of the Provider.
• Follow standard work for patient care processes.
• Maintain timely patient flow and organized patient rooms and supplies.
• Ensure documentation is complete, accurate, and timely in the Electronic Health Record.
• Provide patient education as instructed by the Provider and care team.
• Participate in process improvements for ambulatory care.
