Job summary

MEWI - Director of Operations at Jackson Medical Mall is seeking an LPN-Ambulatory to assist in direct patient care, administer and monitor treatments, and support ambulatory services in a busy clinical setting. The role requires a valid LPN license, with an IV therapy expanded role potentially required in certain areas.

BLS certification must be obtained within 90 days of hire. You will collaborate with the care team, maintain patient records, and participate on committees to enhance patient

Qualifications

• Valid LPN license.
• IV therapy expanded role may be required in some areas.
• BLS certification required within 90 days post-hire.

Responsibilities

• Assists with patient care by executing and administering treatments and procedures directed by supervisor.
• Reports to supervisor and other staff any patient issues and concerns.
• Maintains accurate patient records (e.g. charts, schedules, procedures, medication /treatment history, etc.)
• Educates patients and family members in accordance with established plan of care.
• Functions in expanded role of IV therapy in accordance with regulatory standards, if required by clinical area.
• Serves on at least one nursing council, hospital, or medical center committee, task force, or project team to improve patient care or work area demonstrates core standards of exceptional customer service.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
