Job summary

Advocate Health is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse in Rome, GA, to provide and coordinate patient care in a busy medical office. This full-time, 40-hour/week position features CLIA-compliant in-office labs, vaccine management, electronic documentation, and collaboration with providers.

Responsibilities include charting in EMR, taking vital signs, venipuncture, injections, pre-visit planning, and assisting with procedures.

Qualifications

• Licensed Practical Nurse license active in applicable state.
• Graduate of an accredited practical nursing program.
• BLS certification required per policy guidelines.
• Medical office experience preferred.
• Must be able to speak basic English fluently.

Responsibilities

• Document patient care in the medical record.
• Perform venipuncture and injections.
• Take vital signs and review medication history.
• Assist providers during procedures and with lab tests.
• Maintain infection control and CLIA compliance.
