Job summary

Oxford Surgery Clinic Staff in Grenada/Oxford is seeking an LPN-Ambulatory to provide direct patient care and support treatment plans. The role involves administering treatments, maintaining records, and educating patients and families as part of a multidisciplinary team.

The LPN will report to the supervisor, participate in safety practices, and support continuous improvement initiatives within the clinic setting.

Qualifications

• LPN license required.
• IV Therapy certification if required by the clinical area.
• Knowledge of patient care procedures and protocols.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work well in a team.

Responsibilities

• Assists with patient care by executing and administering treatments and procedures directed by supervisor.
• Reports to supervisor and other staff any patient issues and concerns.
• Maintains accurate patient records (e.g. charts, schedules, procedures, medication/treatment history).
• Educates patients and family members in accordance with established plan of care.
• Serves on committees or task forces to improve patient care or work area and demonstrates core standards of exceptional customer service.
• Practices safety, environmental, and infection control methods.
