Job summary

Qualifications

• Active LPN license required.
• IV therapy certification may be required in the clinical area.

Responsibilities

• Assists with patient care by executing and administering treatments and procedures directed by supervisor.
• Reports to supervisor and other staff any patient issues and concerns.
• Maintains accurate patient records (e.g. charts, schedules, procedures, medication/treatment history).
• Educates patients and family members in accordance with established plan of care.
• Serves on at least one nursing council or committee to improve patient care and standards.
• Practices safety, infection control and environmental safety methods.
